And what it does not cover
The Eurofins certificate is heavy metals only. It is not a purity test. The 99.99% purity figure is from the supplier's batch specification, measured by HPLC — a different document, produced by a different party, measuring a different thing. Anyone who tells you their NMN is "Eurofins tested at 99.99% purity" is running two separate pieces of paper together, and we are not going to do that here.
We also do not hold an independent assay on the finished capsule. The purity figure describes the raw material we buy, not the capsule after encapsulation.
No Authorised Claims Does Not Mean No Research
You will notice this page tells you nothing about what NMN or nicotinamide riboside do. That is not because nothing is known — NMN is one of the most studied molecules in longevity research and has appeared in Science. It is because getting a health claim authorised in Great Britain is a process most ingredients never go through.

Authorisation is funded by whoever stands to profit from the claim, and no company will spend six figures on an ingredient any competitor can then sell. Powder costs far less per gram and is the only format available up to 25kg, but you need milligram scales to use it because no scoop is supplied. Capsules are measured for you. Most people start with the 500mg capsules and move to powder once they know what they want.
What does "Eurofins tested" actually mean on these products?
It means heavy metals, tested by ICP-MS, with the four results published: lead 0.008, cadmium under 0.001, arsenic 0.013 and mercury under 0.005 mg/kg. It is not a purity test. The 99.99% purity figure is a separate document, the supplier's batch specification, measured by HPLC.
Does NMN have any authorised health claims in the UK?
