Copper contributes to the maintenance of normal skin pigmentation
Copper is a cofactor for tyrosinase, the enzyme that starts the conversion of L-tyrosine into melanin, the pigment that gives skin its colour. Adequate copper keeps that enzyme working normally. This is a claim about normal pigmentation, not about tanning, darkening or a change in skin tone.
Copper contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress
Copper is part of the superoxide dismutase enzyme, one of the body's own systems for neutralising reactive oxygen species before they damage cell components.
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin
The enzymes that cross-link collagen fibres need vitamin C to work. Collagen is the main structural protein of the skin's lower layer, so normal collagen formation is part of normal skin function.
Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal skin
Vitamin A regulates how skin cells divide and mature as they move to the surface, the process that keeps the skin barrier renewing normally.
Vitamins B6, B12 and C contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
Each is a cofactor in the pathways that release energy from food; adequate intake keeps those pathways running normally.
Beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin and L-tyrosine
Declared on the label but carrying no authorised claim of their own. Beta-carotene is a source of vitamin A and can be counted towards it; lutein, zeaxanthin and tyrosine are listed for what they are, with nothing promised.
What these drops are not
They do not tan the skin, do not contain a self-tanning agent, do not darken skin tone and do not provide any protection from the sun. Use sunscreen as normal. The word tanning in the product name refers to the market people search in, not to an effect, and the label says so.

The register covers food and food supplements. A serum is a cosmetic, applied to the skin, and is governed instead by the UK Cosmetics Regulation: it must have a product safety assessment, a named responsible person, a full ingredient list in INCI order, and claims that can be substantiated. A cosmetic may not claim to treat or prevent a disease; it may describe its cosmetic effect.
What the ingredients do, in cosmetic terms
Vitamin C in a serum is used for brightening and evening the look of skin tone. Niacinamide is used for the appearance of pores and skin texture. Hyaluronic acid holds water at the surface for hydration. Vitamin E and collagen are conditioning ingredients. These are cosmetic functions, not nutritional claims, and they are different from what the same names mean in a supplement.
How to use a serum
Cleanse, apply a few drops to the face and neck, press in, then moisturise. Vitamin C serums are usually used in the morning under sunscreen. Patch-test on the inner forearm for 24 hours first. Keep the bottle closed and out of light; vitamin C serums darken as they oxidise and should be replaced when they turn deep orange.

A synthetic thiazine dye, methylthioninium chloride, dissolved at 1% in water. Its ordinary uses are as a biological stain in microscopy, a redox indicator in chemistry teaching, and an aquarium treatment. Those are the uses we sell it for.
What we will not say
Anything about taking it, any amount, any effect in people, any comparison with a medicine. There are websites that discuss ingesting methylene blue; this is not one of them, and no material on our site should be read as encouragement to do so.
Handling

Is copper safe to take every day?
At the amount in the daily serving of the drops, yes, for healthy adults. Copper has an NRV of 1mg and a supplementary safe upper level well above that. People with Wilson's disease must not take copper supplements. Check with your GP if you take zinc long-term, since the two minerals compete, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Why is one methylene blue listed as 60ml and one as 120ml?
