Heavy metals in our NMN raw material by ICP-MS, certificate AR-26-UD-200973-01, May 2026. The GB supplement limit for lead is 3.0 mg/kg; our result is about 375 times below it. What the certificate is not: a purity test. The 99.99% purity figure comes separately from the supplier's HPLC batch specification. "Third-party tested" on its own tells you nothing; ask which lab, for what, by what method, on which batch. Both of our documents are available on request.

Trans-resveratrol products
Trans-resveratrol is an authorised novel food in Great Britain at up to 150mg a day, in capsule or tablet form. We are bringing our resveratrol products into line with that limit and will relist them here when the reformulated versions are ready. What NMN is
NMN, β-nicotinamide mononucleotide (CAS 1094-61-7, MW 334.22), is a nucleotide derived from vitamin B3, found in trace amounts in foods such as broccoli, avocado and edamame. In human biochemistry it sits one step before NAD+ in the salvage pathway. That is a description of where a molecule sits, offered as background, not a statement about what taking it does.
NMN and NR are not the same thing. NR (nicotinamide riboside, CAS 1341-23-7) converts to NMN before reaching NAD+. NR is an authorised novel food in Great Britain and can carry the niacin claims where it is declared at threshold; NMN has no such position. Human trials on NMN have been published, including a single-dose safety study in Endocrine Journal (2020) and a 10-week randomised trial in Science (2021). Small, short studies with mixed findings, cited as background only.
Why there are no health claims in this collection
NMN has no authorised health claims in Great Britain, so we make none. Getting one claim authorised typically takes 5 to 10 years and a dossier costing £100K+, and nobody has done that for NMN. That is a fact about paperwork, not a verdict on the ingredient either way. Where a product here contains magnesium, niacin or vitamin C, those nutrients do carry claims, stated in approved wording on that product's page.

How to check any NMN product, ours included
The sublingual check
Open a capsule and put a little of the contents under your tongue. Pure NMN dissolves quickly with a clean, slightly tart, faintly zesty taste. Gritty, sweet or chalky points to a bulking agent. It is a sensory indicator, not analysis, so treat a surprise as a reason to ask for documentation. We no longer suggest the glass-of-water test: some fillers dissolve, some cloud the glass regardless, so it proves nothing either way.
Shell size and weight
A size 0 holds about 500mg at normal density, a size 00 about 700mg. A larger shell is not a red flag in itself; our 700mg and 800mg capsules use 00 because the fill needs it. What matters is that the shell and the declared fill agree: 500mg declared in a 00 shell means about 200mg of something else. Weigh five on a 0.01g scale and average; a 500mg fill in a size 0 HPMC shell comes to about 0.60g.

What does Eurofins tested mean?
Eurofins Scientific UK tested our NMN raw material for heavy metals by ICP-MS: lead 0.008 mg/kg, cadmium below 0.001, arsenic 0.013, mercury below 0.005. That is a heavy-metals test, not a purity test. The 99.99% purity figure is from the supplier batch specification by HPLC. Both documents are available on request.
