How to Use
Add your measured serving to cold water and stir or shake. Because the powder is instantised it disperses and dissolves without the clumping typical of untreated BCAA powder — no blender or hot water needed. Can also be added to juice, squash or a shake.
Measuring: use accurate gram scales rather than estimating by scoop. Powder density varies and volume is not a reliable proxy for weight.
Storage: keep in a tightly sealed container in a cool dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Food supplement — not a medicine.

Are there authorised UK health claims for BCAAs?
No. There are no authorised EU/UK health claims for branched-chain amino acids on the GB register, so we make none. We describe this product by specification only — assay, ratio, source, solubility, purity and testing. Any UK seller telling you what BCAAs will do for you is making an unauthorised claim.
What does "instantised" mean?
Standard BCAA powder is hydrophobic and tends to float and clump on the surface of water. Instantised BCAA has been treated with a small amount of sunflower lecithin (0.3–1%) which lets water penetrate the particle surface, so the powder disperses and dissolves in cold water. It is a physical processing step, not an added active ingredient.
What does the 2:1:1 ratio mean?
Two parts L-Leucine to one part L-Isoleucine to one part L-Valine. Our typical assay results are L-Leucine 46.5%, L-Isoleucine 25.3% and L-Valine 25.3%, all within the specification ranges of 45–55% and 22.5–27.5%.
Is this suitable for vegans?
Yes. The amino acids are produced by fermentation using corn as the substrate, and the instantising agent is sunflower lecithin from sunflower seeds. No animal-derived material at any stage — confirmed suitable for vegans and vegetarians on the Certificate of Analysis. Worth knowing: some BCAA products on the market are derived from animal keratin such as duck feather or hair.
What testing has been carried out?
Assay of all three amino acids, appearance, colour, aroma, flavour, identification, sieve analysis, loss on drying, ash, bulk and tapped density, microbiological limits (total viable count, yeasts and moulds, E. coli, Salmonella) and heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury, arsenic). Where is it made?
The amino acids are fermented from corn and manufactured outside the UK. The finished product is held, packed and dispatched from our own 5 Star Food Hygiene rated facility in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. We would rather state that plainly than imply UK manufacture of the raw material.
Does it contain allergens?
The instantising agent is sunflower lecithin derived from sunflower seeds. Sunflower is not one of the 14 UK named allergens, but we declare the compound ingredient in full so anyone avoiding it can make an informed choice.
