How to Compare UK NMN Suppliers 2026 — The Seven Things to Check
There is no single best UK NMN supplier, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something. What there is, is a short list of things you can check before you pay — on any supplier, including this one.

1. The seven checks
Every one of these can be answered before you pay, and none of them requires taking a seller's word for anything.
1 · The purity figure — and where it came from
A percentage, not the word "pure". Then the question most buyers skip: is that figure from an HPLC batch specification, or from an independent laboratory? Both are legitimate. They are not the same thing, and a supplier should be able to tell you which.
2 · The laboratory, by name — and what it tested
"Third-party tested" without a lab name is unverifiable. And a named lab is only half the answer: a heavy metals certificate says nothing about purity, and a certificate run on raw powder before encapsulation says nothing about what ended up in the capsule.
3 · Price per gram, never pack price
Pack sizes and serving strengths vary so widely that headline prices are not comparable. Section 3 shows the arithmetic. It takes ten seconds and it is the single most revealing number in this category.
4 · Format and capsule size
Powder, capsules, or both. Capsule shells have fixed volumes — a size 0 holds roughly 500–530mg of NMN powder, size 1 and 2 materially less. A 500mg declaration in a smaller shell is worth a question.
5 · Maximum quantity available
Relevant even to retail buyers, because it tells you whether you are dealing with a brand that buys finished stock or a supplier that handles material. Most retail-focused brands stop at consumer pack sizes.
6 · Trading history you can look up
Companies House gives an incorporation date nobody can self-report. Marketplace stores carry timestamped public sales and feedback. A Food Hygiene Rating is public at ratings.food.gov.uk — check which premises it covers, because a rating on an office is not a rating on a production facility.
7 · A Certificate of Analysis for the batch you are buying
Not a certificate for some batch at some point. Ask for the one covering the stock being shipped to you. A supplier who provides it promptly has told you something; one who will not has told you more.

3. How to work out price per gram
The only sum that matters
pack price ÷ grams in pack = price per gram
price per gram × daily grams = cost per day
A 500mg daily serving is 0.5g, so a 100g pack is 200 days. Run the same sum on everything you are comparing, including us. Pack price on its own tells you almost nothing, because pack sizes and serving strengths are not standardised across this market.
One caveat on price comparisons. Price per gram only compares like with like if the purity is comparable. A cheaper gram of a lower-purity material is not a cheaper gram of NMN. Check criterion 1 before you weigh criterion 3.
4. Reading a test certificate
Three questions, in this order. Most sellers will answer the first and stop.
- Which laboratory? A name you can look up, not "an accredited third party".
- What did it test for? Identity and purity by HPLC, heavy metals by ICP-MS, and microbiology are three separate pieces of work. A certificate covering one is silent on the other two.
- What was tested? Raw powder, or the finished capsule? A powder certificate issued before encapsulation describes the powder, not what ended up in the shell.

8. Which format suits which buyer
- Lowest cost per gram — powder. You weigh your own serving and pay nothing for encapsulation.
- Convenience and a fixed serving — capsules. Easier to travel with and no scales needed.
- Already taking NMN, want fewer capsules — the 700mg size 00. Start at 500mg if you are new to it; that is the strength used in most published human trials.

How do I compare UK NMN suppliers?
Seven things, each of which you can check before you pay: the purity percentage and where the figure comes from, the name of the laboratory and what it actually tested, the price per gram rather than the pack price, the format and capsule size, whether bulk quantities are available, the trading history you can look up on Companies House, and whether a Certificate of Analysis is provided for the batch you are buying. What purity should UK NMN be?
Most reputable UK NMN sits between 99% and 99.99%. The number matters less than its source: ask whether the figure comes from an HPLC batch specification, from an independent laboratory, and whether it was measured on the raw powder or on the finished capsule. A percentage with no stated method is marketing rather than specification.
How do I work out the real price of NMN?
Divide the pack price by the grams in the pack to get a price per gram, then multiply by your daily serving in grams to get a daily cost. A 500mg daily serving is 0.5g, so a 100g pack is 200 days. Pack price alone is misleading because pack sizes and serving strengths vary widely between suppliers.
What does third-party tested mean on an NMN product?
It should mean a laboratory unconnected to the seller analysed the material. The phrase on its own is unverifiable, so ask three questions: which laboratory, what did it test for, and was it the raw powder or the finished product. A heavy metals certificate says nothing about purity, and a powder certificate issued before encapsulation says nothing about what ended up in the capsule.
